About Streetcast

Today, digital filmmaking has changed the landscape of the film industry, and with the availability of sophisticated digital cameras and computer editing software, everyone now has the means to produce their own movies.

Streetcast runs a selection of digital video and multimedia training courses for individuals who want to become filmmakers. We believe that the best way to become a filmmaker is to gain practical hands on experience by building up a portfolio of films you have played a part in. From an education viewpoint, Streetcast provides youths an outlet for creative self-expression, hands-on learning and fun with technology. It is an excellent way to learn about group decision-making, to build self-confidence, and uncover and nurture those special talents within.

Students will get to learn key production techniques such as writing, editing, camera and sound; enabling them with skills to create their own short films.

Students are supported throughout the course by enthusiastic and experienced tutors,(many of whom work within the industry). Theres a lot to gain from their remarkable film-making knowledge.

Students also have the chance to use professional equipment including Digital Video Cameras, lighting and sound rigs and Non-linear editing systems.

Our courses are designed to be flexible and can vary from weekdays, evenings and weekends.

At the end of the course student films will be screened at various locations as well as online. Career support will be available, and all students are presented with a copy of their film and completion certificate.

The current set of short courses are delivered in partnership with Film London , Futuretrend , Enfield Council and Enfield College combining their expertise and knowledge to give students a complete learning experience.
