Course Aims:

You will be expected to complete a short video of your own by the end of the course and will be given the skills to do that. The course covers a full range of experience from planning and storyboarding through production and post production.

You will learn:

1 The Production Process.
2 Developing an Idea.
3 Storyboarding / Scripting.
4 Shooting (Camera) Techniques.
5 Lighting.
6 Sound.
7 Directing Techniques
8 Editing
9 Post Produciton Techniques.

The first part of the course is spent developing an awareness of production techniques, through short exercises. Towards the end of the course you will be guided through the development of an idea, which you will then develop through the production of a short video.

Qualification in Context and Future Opportunities:

The course gives you an OCN accreditation at level 2. This can prove useful in proving to educational institutions and employers that you have produced your own finished video and you will leave the course with your own show reel.
