From Real to Reel
Streetcast: from Real to Reel is for young people who want to take part in a fresh and exciting film-training course.
The course will cover all aspects of film from review, marketing, story-boarding and script editing, to production, lighting, acting, directing and editing.
Participants will learn from industry professionals and will get the chance to use high quality technical equipment.
The emphasis of the course is on the hands-on learning. Participants will not get tied down with theory and will instead learn practical skills quickly to allow them to develop their own ideas for film.
The first section of the course will be a series of workshops. For the second participants will plan, storyboard and develop a script for a short film. They will then film their script on location taking part in the acting or behind camera work. Finally they will edit the film.
Each participant will receive a copy of their film and it will be shown on a dedicated website and screened in appropriate locations.
The course will be exhilarating and it is a fantastic opportunity to learn unusual but practical skills.
All participants will also develop their personal skills whilst working in a team and stretching themselves creatively.
