| SABA is an arts charity (registered no: 3768201) whose aim is to promote and develop unsigned UK based artists. In 1999 we created, devised & produced UK UNSIGNED to support our objectives. We started the competition with one heat and one final and now we cover the country with over 20 different categories as follows: |

| UK UNSIGNED will now provide a platform to enable new film makers to be on their way within the film industry. The UK UNSIGNED Film competition will take short films (12 minute maximum) of all genres including music, thriller, sci-fi etc. They can be on either VHS, DVR or DVD format. |

| The best 3 films entries will be specially screened in July 2005 to be held at a prestigious film screening at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square . to be confirmed. The competition will be judged by a panel of independent film makers, writers and producers wich include Marlon Palmer from KUSH Films, Sam Addo from No Bling & Shaddow Productions, Danh Le from Iris Digital and Femi Lana from Future Trend. |

| The overall winner will also have a special screening at the Hackney Empire Theatre, and will make up part of their programming schedule over the year. |
