Martin has a strong background in media, both in front of the camera, appearing in a number of TV programmes and videos, as well as behind the camera. Martin's formal qualifications include a Media A-level, with a specific focus on marketing and film. Recent professional development has included training with Raindance, where he completed the Filmmaker's Foundation Diploma and Essential DV.

Martin was successful with his entry for the Enfield Film Fund Young Filmmakers Award which he won in 2003; this involved a screening of his short at a UGC cinema. A selection of his short films have also been shown at various cinemas including the Curzon cinema, Mayfair . His experience also includes the recent production of a music video, which was screened at Cannes 2004 and on MTV2.Martin is committed to training and has written the Streetcast2 OCN accredited course and has been teaching film for 4 years. www.rabiddog.co.uk
